Waste reduction and prevention are easy things to do once you get started.

All of the actions on this web page can be done by most people with little effort.

    Example is the first step.  Other methods to use can include regular short ideas via Facebook, email, newsletter, parish notes etc.

    In our school our Green Schools Committee are at present trying to make our pupils, teachers and their families more aware of how much energy is being wasted every day. We are doing surveys and informing everyone of the results and we are organising a poster competition and a slogan competition. Our teachers are doing energy related lessons in most subjects where possible, from energy wastage in SESE to science experiments to stories and poems in English!
