1. Commercial and Industrial Waste Audits

Introduction:

The premise for waste auditing is simple – it is an opportunity for an organisation or business to learn more about the different fractions of waste that arise on their premises or site, to consider how these are being presented and most importantly a waste audit will identify opportunities for improving waste handling and waste prevention.

The waste auditing methodology followed throughout NIPP was developed by the Clean Technology Centre and approved by the EPA. It is a simple but accurate method of detailing all waste arisings at any premises or organisation.
