What is Waste Pervention

We all know waste is bad for the environment and we also know recycling is good but remember recycling also uses energy, water and transport so if we really care about the environment we should try to limit environmental damage. Preventing waste before it’s ever created (at source) does just that – after all if you don’t create waste then you don’t have to recycle or dispose of it. Prevention can also save us money whether at home or at work – recycling and waste disposal costs so if we by preventing waste we can save.

So waste Prevention is simply stopping it before it starts!
