- EPA Grant Aid for companies/ organisations under Phase 6 of CGPP and National Waste Prevention Programme
- In 2011 trials were undertaken in Limerick City and Co Kerry to determine whether suitable compost produced from local waste could be used as topdressing for the renovation of sports pitches. Organic waste from the Mungret Civic Amenity Centre was used very successfully in this trial. One of the outcomes of the trial was the production of this best practice management guide.
